Description
A bottle carrier (for example six beers): two tall rounded side panels with rectangular holes for a handle cut from the same material, front and back walls, a base and a grid of dividers that cross with half-lap joints. The lower parts of the panels are cut away so the carrier stands on 4 feet. Everything assembles with tabs in slots – no glue. Compartment sizes are internal.

Material and thickness
BottleCarrier is cut from plywood and other sheet materials. The material thickness can be set from 4 to 20 mm (default 9 mm); tabs, slots and clearances are recalculated automatically with every change.
Assembly
The parts are joined with finger joints: the tabs fit into slots and hold without screws. Kerf compensation is set in the configurator so the joint fits snugly; a drop of wood glue fixes it permanently if needed.
At standard dimensions the set has 6 kinds of parts; the configurator nests them on a sheet and calculates the cutting time and an approximate price.
Questions and answers
Which files can I get for BottleCarrier?
For laser cutting – DXF, SVG and PDF with the layout of all parts; for preview – STL, OBJ and a PNG image. Files are downloaded from the configurator, and the terms are on the “Pricing” page.
What dimensions can I set?
Dimensions are set in the configurator: compartments along the length 1–6; compartments across the width 1–3; compartment length (internal) 30–150 mm. The configurator recalculates all parts automatically and shows the 3D model in real time.
Which material and thickness should I use?
Plywood and other sheet materials from 4 to 20 mm thick work well; the default is 9 mm.
Do I need glue or screws?
No screws are needed – the parts hold with their own tabs and slots. A drop of wood glue is optional, for a permanent joint.
How many parts are in the set and how long does cutting take?
At standard dimensions the set has 6 kinds of parts. The configurator nests the parts on a sheet and shows an approximate cutting time and price for your machine and material.
